Skilled craftsman, Rob Polk, creates bespoke, handcrafted pieces of art and furniture using a wide range of styles and executions. He molds concrete like clay, creating patterns to give the material depth and character. He experiments with an ancient Japanese wood burning technique to char, waterproof, and preserve wood, producing colors so deep and rich to rival the most beautiful stains. Each object is unique and comes with an origin story, whether a few words said by a client when describing their dream dining table, or the moment Rob discovers the perfect slab of live edge wood for a new commission. Rob gives new life to timeless materials, transforming them into beautiful focal points in their clients’ homes.
